CAST Teaching Every Student founded by Anne Meyer and David H. Rose is a site that has so many resources, to expand learning for all. Through them I stumbled upon IPL2 For Kids that took me to exactly what I was looking for. I would suggest this site to all teachers and parents. Take the time to look at what there is and you might just find a gem. I know I did.
Somehow I got to IPL2 For Kids. There are so many sites worth discovering and using. I have listed many under my classroom resources. Here are a few that really highlight how much there is out there to enhance education.
Mighty Book From a virtual visit to a fine art museum to B-I-N-G-O, this site was designed for kids to enjoy and unwind. Are you kidding me? This is exactly what my elementary SDC kids need on a Thursday Afternoon when they are mainstreaming into computer time. How perfect!
Giggle Poetry What a fun way to get kids to read and write! The poems are so silly that they actually make you giggle in spite of yourself. Can't wait to use this in my High School SDC.
Another way in to Ziggity Zoom! a web-site that offers games and activities perfect for my younger SDC students. Even my own daughter enjoyed these games!
